Katherine is a senior attorney at the Arkontaky Law Group. Katherine’s practice focuses on special education litigation, special needs planning and Article 17-A guardianships. Katherine started working with underserved individuals while in law school as an advocate to families in manifestation determination reviews. Katherine is also an active community participant. She frequently presents bilingually in workshops related to special needs providing families valuable information for their loved ones with disabilities. Katherine has presented for the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates and previously served as a board member for an organization servicing individuals with special needs. Katherine is a member of the Special Needs and Special Education committees of the New York State Bar Association.
