Evelyn Romero is a bilingual special education litigation paralegal in the Westchester Office. Evelyn graduated from Mercy College (B.A in Legal Studies) and is a former Student Advisor of the Human Services, Government, Law and Education Student Advisory Board at Mercy College. Evelyn is responsible for assisting the attorneys in preparing for due process hearings, assisting clients with OPWDD applications, preparing guardianship petitions and implementing hearing officers’ orders to ensure families benefit from the work we do. She is a liaison for the families and attorneys especially those clients who are Spanish speaking.
